New Year’s resolution…..

Title: Time Out

Our lives are wound so tight. Wouldn’t it be great if we could walk through a clock, stopping time and take a breath of fresh air, feel the warm sunshine on our cheeks whenever we need it. Maybe we could pretend we are on a beautiful beach over looking the waves and listening to the palm trees swaying in the breeze. We all deserve “Time Out” to nurture ourselves and delight in the wonder of nature that connects us all.

At last….

Title:” Holding It Together”

Under the weight of our responsibilities, the complexities of our relationships and the search for purpose in a world spinning out of control it is all we can do to hold ourselves together. Can you die of a broken heart? Can you recover from shattered trust. Can you be consumed by grief and pain? Reaching deep inside we find out what we are really made of. There are parts of ourselves that we are sure to lose if we give in without a fight. Our strength is our ability to sew and hammer and bind, to glue and nail each piece of ourselves together, until the strength of our parts makes us whole again. Holding it together is our challenge, emerging with hope is our goal. We are survivors.

Poly Fiber Masking is a beautiful and unique background for projects large and small. The goal is a hard, secure, binding , polymer friendly background for your work that will not crack, peel, chip or shrink.

This Poly Fiber Masking technique was used as the background for all of the pieces for “Holding It Together”. ( This is the title of the piece that I am working on…..
